You will provide day to day operational management of the centre under the direction of the Manger and Assistant Manager, in accordance with the Trust’s policies and procedures, in pursuit of the objectives and targets set out in the business and service delivery plans.

Qualifications

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard Award.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Relevant Leisure Management qualification.
• Relevant coaching/teaching awards.

Experience

• Experience of supervising operational and administrative staff and systems.
• Experience of supervising activities in compliance with relevant legislation including the Children's Act 1989.
• Experience of health and fitness trends in an inner city environment
• Experience of writing reports.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of general operations management
• Knowledge of premises and asset management, including health and safety and maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
• Understanding of human resource supervision.
• Computer literate.
• Working knowledge of operations management within the leisure industry.
• Knowledge of pool plant operations.
