Education Officer - Hillingdon
We are looking for Education Officer who will be responsible for the development and organisation of a conservation and heritage based education programme for Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex and to assist in the supervision operation and control of the programme under the direction of the Centre Manager.

Hours: 28hrs per week
Contract: Part Time
Successful person will take responsibility for the smooth daily operation of the programmes to maximise usage and to achieve targets.
- To manage, develop and monitor the implementation and administration for the heritage education activity programme.
- To appoint and co-ordinate a heritage education instructor as directed by the Centre Manager with regard to the planned heritage education programmes
- To organise appropriate, relevant courses, exhibitions and activities throughout the year
- To involve primary and secondary schools teachers and children in the programme
- To undertake courses and lectures in according with the programme timetable. Being responsible for ensuring courses, exhibitions, lectures and events commence at the designated times.
- To be responsible for co-ordinating all administrative tasks associated with the position
- To prepare exhibition, lecture, course plans and comprehensive scheme of work that meets the requirements of the programme.
- To assist the Centre Manager with programming and promotions by innovating ideas and initiating actions in relation to the heritage education initiative.
- To assist the Centre Manager and Swimming Development Manager in achieving business plan objectives
- To establish and maintain good relationship with the general public, ensuring that an appropriate ambience in the facility making customer feel welcomed and valued
- To publicise the programme and seek publicity for the innovative nature of the programme.
The postholder must undertake all duties and responsibilities with due regard for the Company’s regulations, policies, procedures and corporate objectives, including:
