Swimming
Swimming is a healthy activity that can be enjoyed by everyone. It's an excellent and relaxing way to exercise as the water supports the body, so less stress is placed on joints and bones.

Primetime activities
We offer a range of recreational activities to help the over 50's and over 60's achieve a healthier lifestyle in a relaxed and social environment.

Swim School
We offer a comprehensive learn to swim programme working in partnership with the Amateur Swimming Association's (ASA) National Plan for Teaching Swimming.

Pool based classes
Our group exercise classes also involve classes in the pool.

Pilates
Pilates is a combination of strength and mobility work which develops your core strength to help keep the body balanced and provide support for the spine.

Tai Chi
Our Tai Chi class is currently only for the over 50s. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese system that is considered to be a martial art but is not hig impact and is based on slowly flowing movements and shifts of balance. It brings mind and body together to enhance feelings of inner strength and calm.

Yoga
Yoga is associated with meditative practices and it can help you become more aware of your body's posture, alignment and patterns of movement. It makes the body more flexible and helps you relax.

Table tennis
Table tennis is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight, hollow ball back and forth across a net. It demands close hand to eye coordination and lightning reflexes. It's one of the fastest games in the world, but you can decide how fast or slow to take it.
