Sports & Community

At the Lido, we work with our local community to make sure it's a special place where everyone can enjoy having fun and feeling good about themselves.

We work with local stakeholders including schools, sports clubs and the Brockwell Lido Users group to increase participation in physical activity and sport within the local community.

We organise events, exhibitions, activities and functions to promote a healthy lifestyle.

FANS/FACS Free Access to National/County Sports people

The FANS (Free Access to National Sports people) scheme in Lambeth is available for elite sports people of all ages from Lambeth who currently compete or perform at a national level or County level in any sport recognised by Sport England.
Pole Precison Company

We believe that Pole dancing is the perfect form of exercise for men and women from all ages, sizes and fitness levels. In our class, you can expect to burn more calories and fat than alternative strength training methods and you will sculpt your entire body.
Advanced Physio at Brockwell Lido

Advanced Physio are a group of experienced chartered physios and are able to treat a wide variety of musculo-skeletal problems. They offer a wide range of treatment techniques including acupuncture, manipulation and deep tissue massage. Their emphasis is always on identifying the underlying cause of problems and ensuring prevention of recurrence. Appointments are available daytimes, evenings and Saturday mornings.
Youngstars at Brockwell Lido

Youngstars in partnership with Brockwell Lido, want to introduce as many children as possible to activity and sport in response to growing concerns about childhood obesity. Both Youngstars and Brockwell Lido's aim is to give all children a positive experience when it comes to sports away from a competitive and pressured environment.
Streamline swimming at Brockwell Lido

Brockwell Lido and Streamline Swims Streamline Swims and Brockwell Lido work together to provide swimming lessons and group swim fitness sessions at our fantastic open air pool.

The Heritage Lottery Fund helps communities celebrate, look after and learn more about our diverse heritage.

Whippersnapers

Whippersnapers provides a diverse cultural platform from which children and adults of all ages, needs and backgrounds can express and educate themselves through music, sports and the arts.
Windrush Triathlon Club

The club was set up after the success of the 2008 Aquathlon. Regular events are held at Brockwell Lido.
Brockwell Lido Users Group (BLU)

BLU is a pressure group set up to ensure the Brockwell Lido and services within the Lido complex are maintained and extended. BLU has worked with Lambeth Council and other local interest groups to represent Lido users as the council changes the way it manages the Lido.
