Blind Cricket taster days at Lords and the Oval
In the run up to the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, Cricket for Change aim to raise awareness of opportunities for blind and visually impaired (VI) children in sport.
Funded by the Greater London Fund for the Blind, they will be using their expertise in the field of Blind Cricket to organise and run two ‘Inclusive and Aware’ days which will be held at premier UK cricketing venues; at The Brit Oval on Monday 5th December 2011 and at Lords Cricket Ground in April 2012.
They will also be inviting complementary organisations to take part in these days, such as Clarity, Blind Aid and SeeAbility; who provide grassroots support to visually impaired people and have different specialities and expertise.
If you, or a family member/friend, would like to attend, please contact Beth Evans at bethevans@cricketforchange.org.uk for an application form by Monday 21 November 2011.
