Freediver Liv Philip has returned from the Mediterranean World Cup in Kalamata, Greece, the proud holder of a silver medal.

Liv got her podium finish after successfully competing in 3 deep dives to give the overall highest score across 3 disciplines. Liv dived on only one breath to 64 metres using a fin in the constant weight discipline; 46 metres with no fins; and 63 metres in free immersion, with the latter event involving athletes have to pull themselves up and down the line using only their arms.

Liv is supported in her training by Fusion Lifestyle and bases much of her training at the newly refurbished Camberwell Leisure Centre as part of the Southwark FANS Scheme, saying "without support like this, I would not be able to train and compete at such a high level".
