Tennis Coaching

Southwark City Tennis Club runs a number of coaching sessions for juniors (5 years plus) and adults from beginners upwards.

The junior sessions are subsidised and the cost is from just £7 per half term as well as holiday coaching. 

Free women's tennis coaching

Free tennis sessions (age 16+) every Saturday from 9th January to 20th March (but not 20th Feb) from 12 noon to 1:30pm - beginners welcome. 

Anyone turning up to at least six of the ten sessions will receive half price membership of Southwark City Tennis Club and half price for the next coaching course. 

The sessions are delivered as part of Play Sport London (Winter 2009).

Southwark City Tennis Club is a non-profit making organisation to promote tennis.  It is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association, Clubmark accredited and is a Beacon Tennis site with the Tennis Foundation.  Coaching is also delivered at Tanner Street Park, Burgess Park, the Salmon Centre, the Bradfield Youth Centre and Peckham Central Venture.
