We are pleased to advise that the South Korea Olympics team have chosen Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex as one of their training venues for the 2012 games.

The team will be utilising the centres great facilities to prepare their athletes for the competition of their lives.

Whilst this is great news there will be some unavoidable disruption to public and member access during this time as follows:

Sports Hall

The hall will be closed all day on the 20th July, 9th August and 10th August.

In addition the hall will be used by the team until 7:00pm every day from 21st July to the 8th August. However during weekdays (Mon-Fri) it will be available for public bookings from 7:00pm until 10:00pm.

The hall reopens for normal use on 11th August.

Indoor Pool

The team will be using the competition pool from the 20th to 27th July, during this time the pool will be set up in the 50m format and set to a depth of 2 metres.

4 lanes will be closed off for team use from 9:00am to 7:00pm daily.

There will be no swim school in the main pool and no non swimmers will be allowed (due to the pool depth). However you may get the chance to swim in a lane next to an Olympic swimmer!

There will be a temporary timetable in place during this time

Please note that the indoor leisure pool and lido will be open as usual.
