Swimming is a healthy activity that can be enjoyed by people of any age and ability. It offers a variety of health benefits and you can swim on your own or as part of a group workout.

We offer various levels of swimming at our centres:

  • Swimming Lessons
  • School Swimming
  • 1-2-1 Swimming Lessons

Child admission policy
A responsible person at least 16yrs should accompany all children under the age of 8 amd or any non-swimmers into the pool. They must go into the water with the children they are accompanying and will maintain a constant watch over the children for whom they are responsible and maintain close contact with those children who are weak or non-swimmers.

Ratios:
Children aged 0-3yrs must be accompanied in the water on a 1-1 basis
Children aged 4-7 must be accompanied in the water on a 2-1 basis

The purpose of this child admission policy is to help safeguard that group of pool users who historically are at most risk of drowning in swimming pools.

Should any customer feel that special circumstances apply please ask to speak to the Duty manager on shift, all other staff have been instructed to enforce the above rules.
