Swimming is a healthy activity that can be enjoyed by people of any age and ability. It offers a variety of health benefits only 8 to 14 year olds are permitted to use our pool inflatable and that any swimmers who are using the inflatable must demonstrate to a member of staff they can swim 25 metres and you can swim on your own or as part of a group workout.
Child admission policy
A responsible person at least 16yrs should accompany all children under the age of 8 and or any non-swimmers into the pool. They must go into the water with the children they are accompanying and will maintain a constant watch over the children for whom they are responsible and maintain close contact with those children who are weak or non-swimmers.
Children aged 0-8yrs must be accompanied in the water on a 1 adult to 2 children basis .
Specific sessions may require a 1:1 ratio please ask for details
The purpose of this child admission policy is to help safeguard that group of pool users who historically are at most risk of drowning in swimming pools.
Should any customer feel that special circumstances apply please ask to speak to the Duty manager on shift, all other staff have been instructed to enforce the above rules.
Pool inflatable for 8 to 14 year olds only and any swimmers who are using the inflatable must demonstrate to a member of staff they can swim 25 metres. Inflatable session is first come first serve and the maximum we can allow in the pool during the inflatable session is 40 children.
