With phase three of the refurbishment of Leatherhead Leisure Centre due to complete in January 2011, a range of improvements are being planned for how the Centre will be run in the future. Questionnaires will be available at the centre and a focus group session will be held in the next few weeks to canvas views of both regular visitors and the local community.

“We’re inviting feedback on what people like about how the centres are run and what they would like to see change,” explains general manager Steve May from Leatherhead Leisure Centre.  “Our team will be there to meet visitors and talk about any issues people want to raise. The new gym, café, crèche and softplay areas have been running for most of this year and the pool and sports hall will reopen in January, so now is the perfect time to ask questions about the new plans and the vast array of new facilities”.

The focus group meetings will be held at the leisure centre but if you are unable to attend the meeting, and wish to make a comment or suggestion regarding plans for their future management, feedback forms will be available at the centre.
