Activities
Gymnastics
Gymnastics involves performing exercises including the uneven parallel bars, balance bean, floor, vault, pommel horse, still rings and high bar. It helps children develop physical strength, flexibility, agility, coordination and balance.
The Rotherhithe gymnastics club was founded in 1993. The aim of the club is to provide a safe, effective and child friendly environment in which members can participate in General Gymnastics under the guidance of appropriately qualified coaches. The club operates an open philosophy and welcome the support of parents or guardians. The club has adopted the B.A.G.A policies for child protection, Equity and Code of Conduct.
In addition the club is also a member of the LGF and was officially awarded the Gymmark stamp last year. The members of the club are organised into groups according to age, gender, ability, experience and individual needs. The club provides a child/member centred, coach led programme and will endeavour to help you/your child develop to their optimum level of performance.
