Fusion Wins New Contracts

It´s been a fantastic year for Fusion Lifestyle so far and we want to share our good news stories with you!

We´re delighted to be able to welcome 3 new contracts into the Fusion portfolio:

  • Newcastle City Hall, City Pool and Turkish Baths - Fusion is investing 5 million into the regeneration of the Newcastle City Hall, City Pool and Turkish Baths facilities, including the restoration of the historic Turkish Baths, a new health and wellbeing facility on site and restoration of one of the swimming pools. The project has been developed with the support of the Re-open Newcastle Turkish Baths Group and we are exciting to be restoring a part of history.
  • Victoria Baths, Manchester (appointed by the Victoria Baths Trust) - the Baths building is an historic and iconic site in Manchester, comprising three pool halls and traditional Turkish Baths. The building was closed back in 1993, but has been partially re-opened after local people launched a successful campaign on the BBC´s Restoration programme in 2003. Fusion are looking forward to being able to regenerate this facility alongside the Victorian Baths Trust.
  • South Hams & West Devon - Fusion is delighted to have been appointed preferred supplier for the South Hams &West Devon group of 7 leisure facilities in a health and wellbeing partnership which will see us invest 9.2 million in the local leisure centres. This will include creating a new pool with a retractable roof, soft play, modern health and fitness suites and new extensive studio facilities.

As a registered charity, Fusion is on a mission to make sport and leisure facilities affordable and accessible to all and these fantastic new developments mean we now manage 93 leisure facilities on behalf of more than 20 partners. Keep your eyes peeled for more news on these exciting new facilities as they undergo regeneration and we hope you will come and pay us a visit once they open!
