Quayside Leisure Centre is set to host the popular annual Rotoproj event, as part of the Kingsbridge Fair Week.  Taking place on Sunday 16th July, registered disabled charities are invited to attend and take part in a day packed with activities, including rides, attractions, a free lunch and a disco.

Organised and run by the Kingsbridge Rotary Club and supported by the Fair Week Committee, Rowlands Fair will be providing rides free of charge to visitors, with the local fire service on hand to assist wheelchair users. Their fire engine will also be on show for all to enjoy. The Rotoproj will be providing a free lunch and disco, hosted in the sports hall of Quayside Leisure Centre.

As part of the 39th annual Kingsbridge Fair, which is set to be the biggest year yet, Quayside Leisure Centre is also set to host a bingo evening on Tuesday 18th July, starting at 7.30pm. Members of the public are invited to turn up from 6.30pm and booking is not required.

A series of activities and events will be taking place across the town in celebration of Kingsbridge Fair Week, which runs from 15th - 22nd July, including live music, 10k Road Race and a carnival procession. Members of the public are also invited to head down to the Estuary, at 12.30pm on Sunday 16th July to watch Quayside Leisure Centre staff competing in the annual Raft Race.

Ben Wilkinson, Centre Manager, Quayside Leisure Centre said: "Quayside Leisure Centre is a central hub for the local community, and we are proud to continue in our support and participation in Kingsbridge Fair Week, helping to bring people together and have fun. The Rotoproj is a big attraction for many and continues to grow every year - it is fantastic to be hosting such a prestigious event.

We will also be giving away free passes and raffle prizes throughout the week, and be sure to attend the raft race and cheer on our leisure centre team!"
