Hounslow’s Mini Marathon Trials 2010 – A Family Affair!

start of race

On Saturday 6th February, Lampton Sports Centre hosted the trials to select this year’s team to represent the London Borough of Hounslow in the Virgin Mini London Marathon.

Almost a hundred boys and girls, aged 11 to 17 years took part in the trials to decide the top 48 young runners that will be going to London to run the last 5km of the London Marathon on Sunday 25th April.

Hounslow’s trials proved to be a family affair, with no less than seven pairs of siblings successfully qualifying. (highlighted below)
