London Feltham Warriors achieve Clubmark
London Feltham Warriors have become the latest club to achieve Sport England - England Basketball Clubmark accreditation.
The Middlesex-based club was founded in 2002 by Rudolph Harriett with a vision to give young people opportunities to play and develop their basketball skills. Through a steady increase in members and a willingness to work constructively with partners, the club has now reached a stage in their development that meant striving for Clubmark accreditation made sense.
The club's founder, Rudolph Harriett, commented: "I would recommend the pursuit of Clubmark status to all clubs. The process has reaffirmed our commitment and consistency."
"The England Basketball staff were very helpful and supportive through the process. A very big thank you as well to all of the past and current players and staff who helped the club get to where it is today."
Craig Costello, England Basketball's Clubmark Assessor stated:
"The efficiency and manner in which the club dealt with all of our queries and suggestions points not only to a well organised club, but also to a club committed to following the Clubmark ethos. We look forward to working with them as they continue to develop."
