If you are a Southwark resident aged 60 years or older, the Silver programme offers you the opportunity to participate in specific sessions, such as gym sessions; aqua aerobics; and bowls and badminton.
If you have never stepped in to a gym or exercised before – remember, it’s never too late to start.
The Silver Membership has been created to offer all Southwark residents over 60 access to specific activities across all the Southwark leisure centres for only £1 per class.
All you need to do is complete a simple application form, pay an annual subscription of £1 and you will get a membership card that you will need to present to reception for your reduced rate of £1 per class/session.

Other memberships available
If you do not want to attend a Silver class, there are lots of other sessions available at the leisure centres in Southwark, including yoga and body balance and sports such as squash. To attend these classes/book squash courts, people over the age of 60 are eligible for a concessionary pay as you go Leisure Axess membership which costs just £3 per year. You will then pay a reduced rate for each class/booking with the prices ranging from £2.60 to £6.10 per person.
Monthly membership
If you like to come in and use our facilities without worrying about how much each session costs, the leisure centres also offer a monthly membership option, Choice Concession, to over 60s at discounted price. For £24 a month, you will get access to the gym, pool exercise classes as well as racquet sports during off peak time (Mon-Fri from open until 4pm). You can also get the peak membership for £32 a month, where you will have access to all of our facilities with no time restriction.
