London Swimming’s Colin Brown is delighted:
“Swimming, the country’s most popular participation sport, really is in the limelight at the moment, and it’s great that these household names are encouraging more people to swim regularly and not only see the health benefits but have fun at the same time."
“Swimming is offered in almost every area and every community – not just London – with over 5,000 pools throughout England alone. Every week at these locations a pool brings together millions of people from every kind of background, not only to take part in one of the most accessible forms of exercise in terms of age, weight and physical ability, but also to unwind, relax and socialise.”
