The Get Active Plus Project

Fusion Lifestyle and Active Sports Essex have joined forces to launch the new Get Active Plus project, which offers 10 weeks of free multi-sport activities during July, August and September. These sessions are at a range of locations in the District and are for young people aged 13 years and over. 

The sessions will be delivered by Active Sports Essex is funded by the Active Rochford Network and aims to build on the success of the Friday Night Project which takes place at Clements Hall. 

All of these sessions take place outside, so it is advised that all young people attending dress appropriately for the weather and bring plenty of fluids.

Mondays // 5pm - 6pm // Ashingdon Park, Moons Close, Rochford, SS4 3EU (meet by the adventure playground)


Tuesdays // 5pm - 6pm // Rochford Recreation Ground, Doggetts Close, Rochford, SS4 1ED (meet by the adventure playground)


Wednesdays // 4.45pm - 5.45pm // Rayleigh Leisure Centre, Priory Chase, Rawreth Lane, Rayleigh SS6 9NF


Thursdays // 5pm - 6pm // King George V Playing Field, Eastwood Rod, Rayleigh, SS6 8JL (meet by the adventure playground)


Fridays // 5pm - 6pm // Friday Night Project - Clements Hall Leisure Centre, Clements Hall Way, Hawkwell, Rochford, Essex, SS5 4LN

We are also extending the school holiday Get Active Project at Clements Hall Leisure Centre to daily sessions, starting Monday 27th July until Friday 26th August. These take place 4pm - 6pm, Monday - Friday. More information will follow on this in due course.
